Drawing on National Geographic’s expertise in exploration, photography, and geographic storytelling, these trips come with custom-designed resources for young travellers and their adults — helping kids (and parents!) see the world through fresh eyes and chronicle their adventures in creative ways.

Many itineraries include wildlife-focused and conservation-oriented experiences—from safaris to visits with local conservation initiatives—meant to engage families in meaningful ways with the natural world.

Each group is guided by two Chief Experience Officers (CEOs) trained especially to work with young explorers. Pre-departure materials from National Geographic help excite and prepare all members of the family

Families travel in small groups (usually 20 or fewer) and stay in carefully selected accommodations that are comfortable, convenient, and appropriate for mixed-age groups. Meals include kid-friendly options, and itineraries include both structured activities and downtime so the pace is manageable for all ages.
