Important notes

1. Machu Picchu Regulations

To visit Machu Picchu, current and accurate passport details are required at the time of booking. Please refer to the provided page for further information. Recent regulations now require visitors to follow designated circuits within the site to help manage crowding. These new circuit-based entrance tickets are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. While we will do our best to arrange for everyone in the group to visit on the same route, please be aware that some group members may be assigned different circuits and may not be together during the visit. Regardless of the circuit, you'll still experience the stunning beauty and grandeur of Machu Picchu.

2. Traveling with Children at Altitude

Children are just as likely as adults to experience Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) at high altitudes, though their symptoms can be more difficult to detect. AMS symptoms can resemble those of jet-lag or a change in diet. It's important to monitor your children's behavior at higher elevations, ensuring they stay hydrated and take it easy during the first couple of days to help them adjust to the altitude.

3. Family Adventure Group Size

For all Family Adventures, one adult can only accompany up to two minors. If your group includes more than two minors, a second adult will be required to travel with you.

4. CPAP Machines at Tambopata Lodge

Please note that CPAP machines cannot be used at the Tambopata Lodge.
